Manson / The Need For Interrogation

me this paper ]
A 9 page paper that discusses the building of Bugliosi's
case based on interrogation and admissions of witnesses,
rather than physical evidence, which was most often ignored
or destroyed by the police. The writer argues that if
interrogation and even hearsay were not allowed in the
trial, Manson would have gone free. Nearly all of the
physical evidence was tied into the case based on
corroborative statements that had to be tracked down and
pieced together. Bibliography lists 6 sources.

Corrections
in California: Problems in River City
[ send
me this paper ]
(5 pp) "River City" never was a real place; but
somehow I remember it from one of my mother's musical
records. Some one sang, "there is trouble in River
City, that starts with "T", and rhymes with
…" and the rest of the song is some shadow of a
memory that cannot be grasped, other than the chorus
constantly repeating "trouble," trouble,
trouble," until they danced or faded away. I have not
thought of that song in a kahzillion years, and now it pops
into my head about California Corrections. Our mind, or the
human memory can do tricks far beyond us sometimes. But that
ancient bit of memory seems very "right on," as
far as corrections goes in California; it is "trouble,
trouble, trouble." Bibliography lists 3 sources.
